Youth Ministries

Youth have a vital role at First Church. United Methodist Youth Fellowship meets regularly on Sunday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00.
The fellowship time features recreation, discussion, Bible study, worship, and much more!  Youth in grades 7 through 12 are invited to participate. Regular retreats and trips to Panama Rocks and other sites take place throughout the year.

Confirmation

This class meets on the first Sunday of every month at 9:30 a.m. with Dr. Harvey;  for youth, grade 7 and above.

Youth Cafes

Each month, from September through May, a Youth or Young Youth Cafe follows the 10:55 am service.  Some favorite Cafe menus are authentic Chinese food, casseroles, soups and salads.  The Youth Cafes are wonderful meals, very reasonably priced and are prepared and served by the youth and counselors. Please contact Aileen Baxter, Director of Youth Ministries for more information.

Christian Basketball League

Youth from our church played and coached in the 2007 Clay Athletics league.  The 7th & 8th grade boys won the championship!  Congradulations!
